AP Summer Institute Student Lab Assistant

Title:              General Student Assistant for UofL AP Summer Institute

Dates:           Friday, July 2 – Monday, July 19, 2021

Need:           1 Student for Biology Lab and 1 Student for Chemistry Lab

Location:       Belknap Campus

Hours:           15 – 30 per week. Hours will vary

Salary:           $8.25 an hour

·        Assist instructor with lab set up and clean up

·        Provide any necessary support to participants

·        Communicate courteously and effectively with participants, trainers, and other APSI staff

·        Some physical work required

·        Significant standing

·        Current or incoming UofL student

·        Customer service oriented

·        Reliable

·        Problem solver

·        Self-starter

·        Technology proficient

·        Major in Biology or Chemistry

·        Experience taking AP Biology or AP Chemistry preferred

·        Have a cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher
