AP Summer Institute General Student Assistant

Title:              General Student Assistant for UofL AP Summer Institute

Dates:           Friday, June 4 – Monday, June 21, 2021 ( 4 students needed)

           Friday, July 2 – Monday, July 19, 2021 (6 students needed)

Location:       Belknap Campus

Hours:           15 – 30 per week. Hours will vary

Salary:           $8.25 an hour

·        Assist with pre-registration setup

·        Deliver books and materials to various campus locations

·        Assist with filling participant bags

·        Help with registration

·        Escort sessions to different campus locations

·        Assist participants and trainers as needed

·        Check and help maintain break locations

·        Pick up sign-in sheets and trainer requests each day

·        Make copies as needed

·        Communicate courteously and effectively with participants, trainers, and other APSI staff

·        Some physical work required

·        Significant standing and walking

·        Current or incoming UofL student

·        Customer service oriented

·        Reliable

·        Problem solver

·        Self-starter

·        Technology proficient

·        Have a cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher
