Marketing Internship
Summary of Responsibilities:
The Practice Development Marketing Intern will assist the Practice Development team in the successful implementation of the firm’s strategic communications plan, special communication programs, social media plan, events, and other marketing activities as deemed necessary and appropriate. He/she will work directly with the Communications Marketing Supervisors. An ideal candidate will have a desire to understand marketing and communications and be able to provide creative ideas and solutions.
Essential Functions:
Assist with content development maintenance as needed for collateral, newsletters, direct mail and internal communications.
- Creation and execution of e-mail mass communications in constant contact
- Analysis of e-mail campaign reporting
Assist in the development and implementation of social media strategy for client and prospective client communications.

- Content development
Assist with proofreading/editing for all printed collateral in production, press releases, website content, presentations, and other documents
- Ordering business cards and name badges
- Edits to content on website
- Creation of staff bio webpages for newly hired employees
- Sending articles/events to industry association contacts to put information in their newsletters/ communications
Support the proposal process and provide marketing support to proposal teams. Provide assistance and guidance in writing and designing, proofing and editing proposals.
- Proofreading, editing, and finalizing proposals
- Maintaining firm numbers (levels, locations, CPAs)
Assist team in execution of client seminars, sponsored booths and exhibits
- Print sign in sheet and any handouts for events
- Record keeping of attendance
- Attend events to help with set up and sign in process
- Keeping track of giveaway inventory and brainstorming new giveaway ideas
Other duties as assigned
Education, Experience, and Skills:
- Working towards B.A. or B.S., preferably in a marketing or communications field
- Proven writing, creative and conceptual capabilities
- Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office and preferably an e-mail marketing platform like Constant Contact
- Strong writing and communications skills
- Skilled liaison with other departments and all position levels
- Strong organization/project management skills
