Fall 2020 DNC Design Internship

The Democratic National Committee is looking for enthusiastic, politically minded future leaders for our fall 2020 internship program. The program will run from September 15 to November 24, and will be conducted remotely due to the recent events surrounding COVID-19. The priority deadline for applications is July 31. The DNC Internship Program provides a $3,000 stipend. Housing is not provided. If you have any questions, please email InternApp@dnc.org.
We’re looking for a creative, motivated intern to help maintain the Democratic National Committee's brand message through all visual communications. The ideal candidate has a passion for design, is detail-oriented, and can demonstrate basic to intermediate skills on the Adobe Creative Suite. You’ll learn and design within an established brand identity system, while coming up with creative solutions. Daily projects may include production assistance for print deliverables, photo selection and editing, collaborating with lead designer on social media graphics and campaigns.
This internship is an excellent opportunity for a student or recent grad with a focus in Graphic Design or Art.

- Proficient in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign
- Extremely detail-oriented and well-organized
- Able to work under tight deadlines
- Familiar with current design trends
- Interested in progressive politics
