Technical Sales Specialist

Hera Biolabs is a life science contract research organization driving research advances in genome engineering and pre-clinical oncology, located in Lexington, Kentucky. Hera Biolabs is seeking a Technical Sales Specialist to join the Business Development team.
Responsibilities:
·        Identifying and recruiting new clients through conducting sales outreach activities, lead generation, and implement existing sales strategies.
·        Create and conduct technology & services capabilities presentations.
·        Attend and present Hera’s technology and services portfolio at industry events, seminars, and conferences.
·        Additional sales and marketing tasks as required.
Requirements:
·        Bachelor's in Biology, Life Sciences, Genetics, or related field.
·        Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
·        Excellent business communications (verbal, written, presentation), organizational and computer skills.
·        Ability to self-start, follow through on tasks and meet deadlines with minimal supervision
·        Work and communicate in a collaborative environment and take direction when necessary
·        Ability to solve problems quickly and multi-task in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment
Preferred Qualifications, Skills and Abilities:
·        Knowledge of gene editing technology and/or in-vivo oncology research.
·        Proficiency with Salesforce (or other CRM)
·        Prior sales experience
