Human Resources Internship

The Franklin Precision Industry, Inc. (FPI) Internship Program is a paid 10-21 week immersive program that will expose students to the manufacturing industry while also giving them the skills and experience needed to build a career. The program provides opportunities for mentorship, networking, career & professional development, community service, job shadowing, and exposure to senior and executive leaders. The intern will work under the direction of FPI leadership by supporting the Human Resources team.
Location: Franklin, KY
Dates: Monday, April 25th, 2022 - Friday, December 16th, 2022
Hours: 32 – 40 hours per week during the Summer break and 15 – 20 hours per week during the Fall & Spring for a minimum of 10 weeks

Responsibilities Include
·        Assist with talent acquisition and recruitment for all areas of the business
·        Help support onboarding new hires and transfers
·        Data entry and filing of employee records
·        Special assignments and varied support to all areas of HR


Qualifications
·        Currently pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Organizational Leadership, or Psychology
·        Junior/Senior/Graduate preferred
·        Strong service orientation
·        Self-starter with strong work ethic and sense of accountability
·        Proficient in Microsoft Office suite – specifically Excel, Word, PowerPoint
·        Good communication (verbal, written, and listening)
·        Strong interpersonal skills
·        Must be self-motivated, capable of taking initiative, successfully handle and prioritize multiple competing priorities, and effectively manage deadlines
·        Ability to work effectively in a team environment and have strong rapport with the leaders and colleagues
·        Ability to work independently
